My daughters 03 RX1 had the instrument cluster quit today while riding. The backup beeper and tail light both run and brake light went out with it. I checked to see if the plug was secure in the back of cluster and it was. Has anyone run into this and what was the cure. Thanx.

I had mine go out today as well the fuse box is on your right side if your sitting on the sled it is a 10 amp Labled SIG on the box.
Im going to look at mine this week to see where my problem is. I think its a chaffed wire under the toolbox on the right where the wires go along the frame. Most RX models have had a problem there so there is a place to start for you.

Check all the fuses. If a fuse is out, you going to have to find the short. It is highly likely that there could be a chaffed wire in the nose of the sled or at the handle bars. And, ... it is the Signal fuse as previously stated.

I have a slight problem with the tail light on my '03 Rx-1 M. The light is on but whenever I press the brake it doesn't get brighter. Any suggestions??

Check the bulb and pull the seat off and look for caffed or broken wire
