Is anyone else having problems getting insurance for their Viper? I am with TD insurance, and the VIN# are not registered with the insurance bureau of Canada. So the Viper is sitting in my garage with no insurance. ???? Wtf.

In the exact same dam boat as you! They say the 11 digit in the vin should be a number not a letter... Its a "T" on mine, with the same insurance company as you as well... What a dam gong show

Oh they gave me the quote on the price, just can't insure it because the vin # doesn't exist in there system, still in the process of tryin to get it sorted out... I know the dealership had to fax some special form to them and then they were forwarding that to the insurance bureau of canada or something

I picked up my new Viper LTX SE two weeks ago, and was able to get Insurance on it at my local insurance broker, so that is Weird.

I like the gong show quote! You must be into hockey. My second favorite winter sport.

Hahaha ohh I watch a bit of hockey... Just boils me to have to deal with something so stupid!

Just insured mine through State Farm yesterday, same full coverage I had on my Nytro. Cost is $417.85 per year......

i wonder if this just in Canada?

It could only happen in Canada

When I applied for my first policy with TD they would not give me snowmobile insurance at all until my kids took the Snow Vehicle Operator's course even though they were not going to drive it. So we all had to waste a Saturday and put them through a course that they didn't need (and pay for it, of course).

I have had 2 policies with TD, 1 for my ATV and the other for the SRX I had, never had an issue with them at all... The issue is with the vin # on the viper, it does not match up with other yamaha vin #'s that they have listed within there own system. I have still yet to hear back from them since last Wed. On this

If you guys are in WI or Mn give my friend Jake a call 763-607-1743 My viper fully insured is only $222 for a whole year. Tell him Henry sent ya!

mine is 222 for one year

Wow, almost half of mine and I have many vehicles and toys insured through State Farm with only a couple of claims over the past 20 years. Who do you have as an insurance carrier? AM I getting raked?
