Got a 17 winder stock tune and was looking for better backshift and throttle response. I was just wondering if the dalton arctic cat white secondary spring set at a little lower wrap would provide me with improvement. I would most likely run the straight 35 or a 37/35 with it. In the front I am running the dalton weights and dalton black/ blue primary. Also what wrap would you recommend. Thanks

Lower wrap would be fine and provide much better throttle response and backshift. IMO, they should come with this spring from the factory!
Try a 6-2 wrap to start. Tuned up with more power maybe 9-1 to 0-2 even 0-3 with a hard belt even on the big tunes. Yep, thats lots of side force, but needed to keep a grip on the belt. Nice thing is its a .207" wire.
Let us know how that works for ya. Don't be afraid to run the 8DN with the added sideforce, I think you'll like what you find once you get dialed in for the 8DN hard belt.
Figures below are for the .110" more travel for the Cat 1.5" belt I'll be running with the Team primary, so pressure will be less on a stock Winder driven. Except for the stock Sidewinder spring where I had to adjust for stock secondary travel as it would bind at the added .110" of travel, where the other springs wouldn't.

My sled is still stock . Such a crappy winter I wanted to get some decent snow before I get a flasher and the Hurricane SM tunes. That being said I have used the stiff orange TPI spring since about 50 miles. I now have about 800 on my sled and it has always run great with nice clutch temps ,perfect belt wear(8Jp) with no breaks (stock as delivered offset of 59.5) . Great throttle response ,back shift, and have seen 118-122 speedo on our lake in good conditions at about 8900-9000rpm. I run this spring @ 50 now (stock helix)on the wrap and will definitely try it on my sled when it is tuned at a higher wrap. I never fell for the too much side pressure talk especially when I had such good results. I am not easy on my sled either and weigh 240 plus suited up.
