I checked the coolant in my new Warrior and it is 100% ethylene glycol or very close to 100%. No where near 60/40 the manual says it should be.
Is the an easy to drain some out to add distalled water to get it to the correct ratio ??
I'm a Yamaha newbie.

If your dealer is anything like the ones in my area GOOD LUCK! Pay more for less. These dealers are getting to be some real shaddy @%#!%.
Seems like half of them are still figuring out what a snowmobile is moreless work on it.

Just pull the coolant hose just before your on/off valve and route it into a small jar and start the sled up. You can add your water to the reservoir as it pumps it out. Remember that when you are measuring your coolant that it seems to take a good ride for it to mix everything through so if you add water to the reservoir and let it run for a few minutes and measure it, it will probably be incorrect (it will read a higher water concentration than the entire system will have). Good luck.

What you wanna do is take your right side cover off(sitting on the sled), disconnect the bottom side of the hose that runs down next to your chain case and then take out the rear air bleed screw. This will kick out almost a gallon of coolant......then reconnect the hose and fill with your 60/40. Fill until it comes out the bleed screw in the back.....tighten the screw, run the machine until you can feel the side cooler get a little warm....and then repeat until coolant comes out the rear bleed screw right when you take it off......easy but a little time consuming.

Thanks "gnip134"
Is the 60/40 , 60% antifreeze / 40% water ? Just double checking.
A lot of coolant now comes 50/50 premix. Is that fine ? -40F should be fine.

Yes...60% coolant, 40% water......I put that in mine..50/50 would prob be ok, but would depend on where you live and ride.
Ohh....and make sure you have the cap off the coolant res. when you do it.

Every now and then I'll need to top off the coolant. I use the Honda premix.
