It’s In! Venom Mountain

Tom, The SXVenoms/T.Lite have an electronic power valve you are correct.

These sleds lightweight and very playful, I spent a fair bit of time on a SXVenom MTN last year when we were out west for Snow Shoot. Enjoy it!

Thats really cool!! I did not know that. They will make some nice low end grunt for a little motor. I sure would love to demo one of these. Very cool!

Watching this thread I have to ask you ... when was the last time you had so much fun? Congratulations on the new sled. You will be such an ambassador for the model Yamaha should have given you one.

Thanks Yukon! I do think this whole Venom experience is going to be about having fun.

Pipe comes off very easily. Springs are all easily accessible. The lower mount of the can is caught by the battery tray. Do have to fight with that a bit. I am all about quiet but this can has to go. Hopefully can find one lighter and quiet. Have to say the neatness of wire and hose routing has come a long way since my 14 Viper. Very nice. Oil pump shown. Must be auto chain adjuster. Nice exhaust outlet guard also. Stout.

Noticed the Infamous Pyramid merge point at top is either plastic or carbon Fibre anyone know? Used to be aluminum. Seems plenty strong. Time will tell. Plan on wrenching pretty hard on the bars when stuck. Steering is also straight design with tie rods directly attached at bottom. No linkage. In this case I believe simpler is better.

Ultimate goal is to delete the battery and starter. I had them leave batt out even but I think before going that route I am going to wait for cold weather. This one pulls just as hard as a 2 cylinder. The demo I tried pulled very easily so could just be breakin not sure but easy enough to do later. I will put my 19000 mi original Viper battery in and the new one in the Viper. They are identical. I have been thinking of new one for Viper last few seasons so nice. This sled can always pull start it if issue anyway, Rope is also routed way nicer than my 800RR. straight shot and not rubbing on wires or coil mount. Batt is 14.6lb.

Looks to me like this is worth getting excited for Steve! Ours should be in soon at PY. We are counting the seconds the Phazer sold in less than 24hours so now there is a place for it to go!

It’s crazy how well sleds are selling this year. Our secret is out. Instead of dreading being cooped up all winter this sport gets you out and looking forward too it!
