May be if someone has already changed the wooble bearing and did not follow the right procedure and overthightening the lock collard.Do you have a theory why it was so stubborn?

This?
I was pounding (two handed swings with big hammer) on clutch side and for some reason threaded collar released....then shaft fell out. The bearing on the clutch side was like it was pressed in crooked or not seated properly. I’m wondering if previous owner had chaincase problems and they f up replacing things...first clue was punch marks on retaining nut...so that tells me nut wasn’t tourqued properly. Or maybe I have really bad luck lol.

Yup...clutch side...wobble bearing came out of case with no problems when I put heat to it.

Oh ok. Glad When I got 16 shaft I just got the whole assembly. Wonder if maybe they Loctited it?

On positive side lucky you went in this deep. I am sure that wobble would have failed being that tight. Well done. Now hope your hands and arms have enough strength left to ride!
