Jimmie "the Blaze" at X-games

Your right, they're going to say what they want to say no matter what the outcome, Yamaha winning or losing, let them!! It just shows their ignorance, and yours for doing the same thing!

IMHO, Jimmy could stand to lose a few lbs. if he's going to compete with the diaper dandies that were flipping the Doos and Cats last night.

Jimmie did not overshoot his landing. He came up way to short and caught the skis while rotating. I will still give him credit, because I don't have the nads to try it! Go Yamaha!

You're right he did come up short on that run, but in practice before that he (and almost everyone else) was overshooting the landing zones by 10-20 feet. Two of the best in the business aren't going to be in the final (Fejes and Justin Hoyer) and that blows. Only four make the final??!?!?! That's not much of a show for a national television audience.

They said he was on his backup sled when he crashed due to trashing his first sled earlier. He also was hurting from the previous problems he had had, and based on what I saw after the wreck and the problems he has with his back, he should not have even been out there. That is nuts to risk your health, especially your back when you are already having problems. I know it's all about the money and the fame, but to me that is just stupid, to risk your life and health. Take this off and live to fight another day!

Get better soon Jimmy!

I say its time for some new friends... my buddies never gave me to much of a hasle when yamaha didnt win the first snocross race they had..(they understood there is some R&D involved)

THen yamaha came back with a 1st place victory..

Lets face it! When you are a Yamaha fan, you are on the outskirts. You are definently going to need to have thick skin. All my in laws and friends around here(within a couple hundred miles of all three factories) love to give me crap. I am, for sure somewhat by myself being a Yamaha fan. I dont mine, just sell me your Yammy sled cheap and go follow the crowds! :yam:

Jimmy's landed more back flips than not.
Too bad he crashed this time, qualifying for X-games.
Maybe these guys should be reminded of Jimmy's recent Long Distance Snowmobile Backflip Record... 103 ft on a PHAZER!

To be aired March 5th on Stunt Junkies: to www.discovery.com/stuntjunkies

Can't brag about that either, it was beat by 3 feet in the Winter X final. New record is 106' :o|. Oh well.

On TSN today (The canadian branch of ESPN for our friends south of the boarder) on the top ten they had the top ten X-games moments ever since it started like 12 years ago or what ever. Guess which one was number one...

All of Jimmy's crashes. Hopefully he can climb back and realize theres more to freestyle then back flips...

The top 10 X-games moments or Winter X moments? Pastrana's double back flip will be the best X-games moment EVER. I don't see anyone taking that away without killing themselves, literally!
