thats pretty sweet looking,I love the black ones!
That must be a "08" X as I thought the "09" were white? Maybe I am mistaking, let us know what you think!

Nope, its an "09". The 08's had grey side panels. 09's come in either White, Yellow & Black, or DEEP BLACK, which is what I got. Basically a murdered out night rider type version.

TB,
That is one sweet looking sled! Please do give us some feedback after you have put some miles on it.
Just curious, how much did you pay for it?

Thanks, will do! Unfortunately these are only available when spring checked, and of course i decided way after then to get one. So I had to look around to find ones that guys backed out on. Needless to say the dealers were seriously marking up these "special edition" sleds. I ended up at $10,800 out the door, for the x package with electric start. Ive seen some guys get much better, and have also seen many dealers asking up to $1,000+ more than that. But, ya want what ya want i guess.

Please be sure to follow up on this - I currently have an 08 Apex Ltx GT - I like the sled but am having trouble getting it to feel comfortable on tight fast trails - if I don't get it soon I will be looking for a new sled and the Rev is my next try.

I've had 2 REV's.....I've always liked the REV....just never liked the constant little problems. When the 800R comes with DFI....I'm there. Those motors need to be bullet proof before I'll consider another 800. The 600's are pretty good if you like a 600. Personally I like the big HP. The DOO 800's have NEVER been known for reliability, especially if you ride long days at higher speeds.
Keep in touch and give us a mid-season ride report. I'd love to hear from a former 4-stroker on the new Doo's. Have fun....and remeber....jump everything you see....those bad boys love to fly.....

Good luck. Hopefully yours won't be recalled as much as my friends 08 blizzard. Back in the shop again for a brake recall?
Anyway, Doo's are good sleds. Or I wouldn't have ridden them for 2 decades.
But the ole Apex just keeps going and going. And in my opinion only, looks great doing it. The xp's just don't do it for me..too much 'Battlestar Galactica' look..lol

That is a good looking sled, they were perfect before they went to the angled plastics.

That's the nice thing about being a consumer with an open mind. I might say that allot of YOUR issues were the result of poor setup, but then again, the allure of new technology is more intoxicating to some. Enjoy your new toy!
My apex is gone too ! Cannot say there was much not to like once dialed in. I may be back in a few this is an awesome site ! I bought a Cat Z1 turbo so it wasn't about the weight.......

Setup does not cure everything
I happen to be a huge fan of the "battlestar galactica look". Looks frikken mean. Anyways, this suits my personal style more, and riding style. Hopefully
