I am just about finished installing my MPI SC on my Warrior. Got everything up and running and the oil light stays lit. Sled oil is spot on as well as sc oil is right in the middle of the stick. I know the SC oil is only monitored for heat so it can not be due to that. I'm not sure if I am missing something where the conection is on the bottom of the sc tank. Any one have any detailed pics of the connection both together and apart?Where do I go from there?

Also on the stand it revs kinda funny. When I hit the gas light it revs to 5500 rpm and then almost hangs there for a second or so before it revs back down. Is this a normal thing?

The idle hanging there sounds like the fuel screws might be a little rich??

i had the same problem with my idle , i bought the kit used, it was used for drag raceing , not sure if this is your problem , but what i found to cure my idle , was my TPS switch was set at .79 volts once i turned it down to .70 volts i could rev it up & it would drop right down like normal.
i will look for a picture of oil connection tonight.

Not sure if these are clear enough to help or not. Make sure you have a good connection where you had to splice wire into stock harness.

Are you refering to the SC oil tank or the tank for the motor oil? Either way the there isn't a connection on the side. On the supercharger resevoir both temp sensors go on the bottom.

The one Srxspec has pictured above is the one designed to signal the OEM oil warning light which has a harness that plugs into the resevoir for the engine oil. The sensor designed to work with the OEM oil warning light is easy to break. MPI had a specific step in the instructions on how to tighten this to prevent damage.

If you have messed this up, your best bet might be to use a stand alone gauge in the drain plug hole and leave the stock oil level plug that goes to the engine oil resevoir plug directly into it which will bypass the harness designed for the OEM warning light. It might have been damaged prior to your install if you had the specific instructions and followed them (I have both sensor and they are good but I have lost my instructions and therefor am a little reluctant to remove that dainty (for lack of better terms) sensor Srxspec has pictured.

By the way; here is the guage I have. It is well worth the $259.95 + $39.95 for the water temp sending unit adapter IMHO. It has the blower oil temp, coolant temp, voltage, time and RPMs. It also keeps track of hours and has a data log for max RPMs. This is nice to have for figuring out you clutching.
