Just finished my ride yesterday. Started in Sudbury and rode to Elliot lake, Wawa, Hearst, Cochrane, Shining Tree and back to Sudbury. Had a heck of a time with the sled over heating after the trails turned rock solid. Trails were getting pretty bad near the end of the trip, need cold weather and more snow.

Hi LouTurbo... Same here, just off Aberdeen lol... I think the guys want to drive up march 1st and leave from Elliot lake march 2nd and ride towards halfway haven to dooberville to chapeau and back to elliot lake, won't be as big of a trip as our last one a few weeks ago...

Might run across you guys! We are leaving the Sault this Monday and heading to Elliott Lake and Sudbury and Post 392 and Hearst and Hornpayne and Duperville and Wawa and Halfway Haven and Searchmont and then the Sault. I ALWAYS look for Winders!

I seen one Blue Sidewinder all weekend, were you in Timmins Saturday afternoon on the "C" trail heading east along side the road before the A111C just after the big field into the Esso ?

anyone been through hornpayne yet? heard there is 20kms of brutal logging. stumps, rocks, etc ... wondered if there is a way around it.
