Hi Everyone, I just picked up me new Nytro and I could not be more excited. I've been riding for a long tome and this is my first 4-stroke and cant wait for it to snow. First off I want to put a slip on exhaust on and was wondering what is the best way to go? I am looking for that louder sport bike sound, I have heard that Barker makes a good one so any input would be great. Also any other mods that are a must have feel free to share your thoughts. My riding is aggressive trail and I am comming off a REV 800X and so far I will be putting RSI bars and heaters with a riser on the Nytro as well as my C&A Razors and 96 studs down the middle as soon as I get the track broke in. Thanks in advance for all the help. Mike.

Welcome
Welcome to the 4 stroke side, You will have a blast... I put the Barker exhaust on my sled last winter and at first, thought it was too loud. Immediately went for a two day 400 mile ride and enjoyed every minute of it. I love the sound and it is no louder than the Rev's with pipes. If you want to make power, it cannot be done quietly......

Re: Welcome
I'm fine with loud. I was all but set on the Barker and thought I should ask the experts. Thanks for the help. Anyone try something else?

Barker, Hindle, Skinz, MBRP and MPI all make pipes for the nytro, or more than one, they all sound good its just how loud you want it to get. I have the mbrp and its got just enough bark to it so when i see the police i can drive nicely and get by them without gettin in trouble but then when i want her to bark i crack on her and the symphony begins.
Hindle makes 2 slipons for the Nytro onto the stock header..one is visible and one is hidden behind stock plastics..either will get you 3-4 hp ( as tested at Dytnotech Research ) and save you 10lbs....the sound will be exactly what you are looking for and if you find it too loud you can get a noise reducer and knock it down 4db.

Where can you find info on these, there is nothing on their site.
Thanks
what would you like to know?

Thats hindle that is making the header pipe that eliminates the donuts right? If I was going to put a slip on exhaust on, I'd throw a header on at the same time. And If I could eliminate the exhaust donuts...that would be a bonus too.
Yep, Hindle eliminates the donuts and flex joints..but for the guy that just wants the slipon..you can add the header later as they use the same muffler....also they may be redesigning the header to gain more HP in the lower rpm range...the slipon made 3-4 hp over the entire rpm range...but it should be used with a fuel controller.

The most you will get on a stock Nytro with a slip on is 1-2hp.

I have a Skinz Super Q slip on. Sounds great. It is louder, but I find myself playing with the flipper just to hear it. Makes riding so enjoyable. Fitment was great. Everything lined up perfectly. Looks great with the turn out of the stock placement.

Any of the slip ons require fuel management? I don't want to put one on and hurt performance running with a stock engine.
