Rumours of a real kids sled for 2020 that might work for a new rider 12-16 years old and a better looking option
(mabie) than putting a kid on an ancient or too big of a sled...if real and shared by yamaha and arctic cat as usual......heard it was real.....thoughts? only thing to get me to buy in anytime soon lol...

I saw that. Would be a great starter sled and looks like a cross between a Phazer and cat. Would be a great platform for beginner and should be low COG. Something Phazer Definitly was not. That scared a lot of beginners. Heck it would even be FUN to race as long as it was a class just for them like the Phazer class was back in day.

It would b awesome if it was well under 400 lbs fully fueled ready to ride. Was 3/4 size with real suspension , had large enough fuel tank to go for a real ride and 40 hp or more with some kind of optional/adjustable performance or speed limiter. Could b a real winner for Yamaha and cat. Perfect for 12 and up where there is nothing in the new market really suitable ( Indy evo close but still slightly heavy for 100 ish pound child to properly learn on). Phaser is still slightly heavy ( for a child ) and definitely not a great choise for kids to learn on. If they hit the mark with it I might brush the cobwebs and dust off the wallet and pry it open

Oh I can't wait for the reactions if THIS is Yamaha's venture back into the 2-smoke world! I'd like to see something like this with the 700 grizzly setup, 50hp and the constant tension CVT would be great for this class of sled. you would never have to worry about the belt even with all the slow speed and start/stops a beginner would be doing.

Oh #*$&@! Never thought of that. That all makes sense and does match all the rumors. OK I am disappointed for me but know in my heart that a affordable kick #*$&@ mid size sled is THE MOST IMPORTANT sled in a lineup if looking to the future. We have to get familys and more important Teenagers riding.
