Been running the single keel cat skis on my sidewinder with semi aggressive trackers and they work awesome. I sell out of every set of 14 ski I get in so been looking for an alternative ski to mount snow trackers on.
I installed a set kimpex rush skis on a friends viper. These are quite inexpensive skis and may even be cheaper than converting to the cat skis. Ran them on two trips with the single runner carbides and they work well. The cobra head in keel really helps prevent darting. Ultimate goal is to fit them up with snowtrackers, and after some research and help from my snowtracker rep I think we have a set that will fit these skis. I have not had a chance to install them yet. Stay tuned.

I will follow this with great interest. I'm running the original ski's with the first version of trackers. There is a new version of the tracker's specific to Sidewinder this year. I have been sitting on the fence in regards to...buying a different ski with tracker's...or the new version on my tuners.
Your findings will help me decide.

Great idea. I’ll be following. I’m running Pilot 6.9s and love them but they wore badly this year

My buddy installed them this morning and sent a few pictures. He said they fit up no problems. The front stud is a bit on the short side. Will take a closer look at the install in person, but at this point I think we have a winning combo! Trail testing is next. I don't expect any surprises as single keel skis have always worked excellent with snow trackers!
Looks like list for a set of black skis, with any color loops, and mounting kit is only $216. May even be able to take another $24 off of that if we can do away with the mounting kit. Will do some fit ups and find out if mounting kit is really needed.
I will likely price out a package deal with the snow trackers.

Tested the skis with trackers this past season with great success. They handled fantastic and would highly recommend the set up for a trail rider. If anyone is interested in my demo set I am selling them. $310 plus shipping for the set up. I have the complete mounting kit that comes with the skis if you opt to put these on another sled.
