How does these compare, and if i buy either one does it improve the way the track hits the snow more like the 2010 models compared to the 08?

They do the same thing but each one approachs things a little different. they both work to keep the skies on close to the ground and transfer weight for better traction. Timbersled was the first one the block and has a long list of supportes. KMOD is the new kid on the block and is gaining support. there is a great thread over on SW about which skid is the best for the NYtro. By a slim margin TS is on top but KMOD is a very close second and that is interesting because as mentioned before it is the new kid on the block. Allen from Timbersled and Kevin from Kmod even chimmed in to explain how each suspension worked. it was a good read. Anything is better then OEM skid. It comes down to riding style and which works better for your type of riding. I have a timbersled skid and it works very well. If i had to do it over again i am not sure things would work out the same way they did. I have been reading a lot of good things about KMOD.

I have a kmod gen 2 with fox evol on m'y nypex and its awesome, the way it work, it keep the front down and the track on the snow , it take huge bump to make the front track shock to leave snow. And for comfort , it's a caddy .
I'm buying one with raptor shock for my pro rmk . Kevin is awesome to deal with too , great support, always answer mail in the same day.
On nytro you will need running board stiffener
