Mine would do 90-94 mph bone stock last year, dealer setup never changed anything at all, this year after figuring clutching out, the Hurricane hindle power kit and pulling the limiter up I'm seeing an average of 104-105 on ice

Full hindle exhaust, power commander and intake mod... Clutching I have is hurricanes but other guys have good setups to.... I agree fully that these sleds should be fast and able to break 100 mph stock but they just can't for some reason unless you go through and set everything up yourself

You can run stock can with a header, nobody would kno, and it's only a small loss in hp from the hindle can from the research I've done

Hey Mopar, I put the MBR trail can on my Viper and have had no issues at all. I have talked to the F&G a few times so far and nothing was even mentioned. I saw F&G in Franklin on the rail trails and again up in the Notch and both times they liked the sled and asked questions and not a word was said about the sound.

Yeah me to.
The Viper with this trail can,
http://store.1stopspeed.com/mbrp_sn...rp_yamaha_exhaust_/mbrp_yamaha/i-1926840.aspx
sounds beautiful.
It does bark up at the top end but that shouldn't be an issue at speed. The bottom end just sounds a little throatier, quite inviting really - lol. Others have used other systems with good results as well but I have not used any of them so I can't speak to their volume.
The 4 stroke just purrs.

Last year stock just studs 100mph long lake run perfect conditions minimal snow. This year added ulmer clutch kit machined secondary 8dn belt mbrp trail can 102 mph lake run not greatest condition but I got there in a hurry sled pulls a lot harder now. Last night rail bed south of bancroft 97 mph granular snow before I backed off . I'm Pretty happy with my rtx its a great trail sled would like to see a little more top end (105-107) maybe have to get primary machined. Is it as fast as my old apex no !! Do I miss my apex no !!(well maybe on lake runs) it's the fun factor in the trails it seems the harder you ride the better it works.

Remember 10% speedo optimism with Doo.
That said I'm looking to top end or at least come close to the Viper with the little 900 ACE...
