Oring on cap must be bad or cap is loose. Never seen this problem with TS BOV.

Has any else ever experienced the turbosmart BOV leaking externally around the swivel end? Going to replace but not with another turbosmart if this is a common issue.
Did you try to tighten it? All the components on the TS BOV are always loose on all of them I've seen.

I part ways with many on here and say the Turbosmart is a pile of crap. (they do make quality product, but NOT the one everyone is using) Don't buy another. I got one laying around that leaks like a sieve. This was after tightening as mentioned.

I have had one of these for 3-4 years now. I did not buy from tomcat. I found it cheaper back then. Not sure about now.
Couple other options for the 998 out there also. You dont have to worry about tightening or anything leaking.

Can you tell if it’s leaking from the cap or the actual swivel fitting that’s threaded into the capI tried to tighten it and apeared to be tight and also took it apart and the oring looked to be in good shape also

I just went to garage and mine is tight but will still swivel.i assume that's normal.
I have had the Turbo Smart blow off valve since my 2019 SW was new. I disassembled it when new and ensured it was undamaged and assembled properly...the swivel hose fitting has always been able to rotate freely without leaking.

It’s leaking around the cap where the bubbles are in the picture I posted. Almost all the way around. Can you tell if it’s leaking from the cap or the actual swivel fitting that’s threaded into the cap

Call Turbosmart and speak with a Tech. They may help you out.

Can't a guy just get an o-ring that's a bit thicker? Seems like the only way it can leak is if the o-ring isn't sealing? It’s leaking around the cap where the bubbles are in the picture I posted. Almost all the way around.
