Maybe I am just getting use to the noise, but I now have about 350 miles on my Vector and I think the clutch is making less noise. :ORC

Vector clutch

Put 100 miles on mine in Gaylord yesterday, and I was wondering the same thing...am I getting used to it, or is it a little quieter? Still think it sounds cheezy though. Rode with a couple buddies with RX1's and their's sounded more like quality machines.

I thought something was wrong with the clutch when we started out. Maybe it's just the way they are, but I didn't really care for it. On top of being too noisey, it seems to engage harshly and clunks on light throttle take off. Kind of a slip/bang. Any ideas?

#1 adjust your take-off techn. It took me awhile to just feather it.. Now I take off very smooth..
#2 Make sure the primary chain is adjusted right.. It is very easy to do.. I noticed mine was 1/2 turn loose after 50 miles.. The clun ;)! k is the drive sprocket catching up to the track.. You feel/hear it more after stopping and starting. Hope this helps. MM

Good thought on the primary chain tension MM. I plan on going over some adjustments when the snow melts off it later this week. All in all, it was a really good day for a ride, and a lot of folks on the trails were interested in what I thought about the sled.

Same here.. We went for an 80 mile ride.. Had a few people come over and ask questions. I got 16 mpg for the first tank.. Considering the way I was riding it that's pretty good.. Harder than normal starts.. The first 50 miles was in very wet snow. All-in-all I think this machine is fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun... MM ;)!
