I am new to the nytro not one mile on with me on it! She just sits in garage and waits! I am new to Yamaha also got smart and ditched the polaris after the big BANG. :o| In the past I have always run with the limter strap tight and made sled corner good but turned hard and I am fine with that. I weight about 250 and ride as hard as a Fat Kid can!! :exc: Stock setting on limiter strap seem really loose any setup ideas would be great!! About how much air pressure in front shocks is everybody running? I saw the ulmer stop blocks maybe a good option?
Thanks for all your input! :-o

Look in the nytro faqs sticky section. This will help you a lot and will answer pretty much any questions u will have on the sled. Good luck and your going to have a blast on it!

I'd start by tightening the front strap at least one or two holes, loosen the front spring preload until only about 4 threads remain for the jam nuts and put 60-65 psi in the front shocks (unload the floats first). This will be a good starting point but you really need to get out riding to get a feel for a Nytro before worrying to much about adjustments.

Its really not much diff. than a pol..Imean setting the rear up ...i would start at 1 hole if you like a lot of press. then go 2 ..I dont run the swaybar in my sled but any sled i have owned i dont run them ... so my shocks are at 90psi.

This is what I did on my 08.

Two holes pulled in, 4 threads showing on spring and 68 PSI on floats. This was my best setup with all stock gear. Last year I weighed 233 with no gear

This year I am trying one hole pulled in, 75psi and 5/6 threads showing. Only because everything is changed suspension wise this year. Plus I am 21 lbs lighter :) . Cheapest way to go faster!

Thanks guys now i can have a good base line to start from!!! If anyboy see's mother nature tell her that fall is over!!! LET IT SNOW!!!!!!
