i have the 07 phazer with the cold start kit. its kept in a heated garage at 65-70 degrees and it takes around 15-20 cranks before it starts depending on when i rode it last. if i took it out earlier that day and went out again around 6-8 hours later it takes about 5 cranks. if i let it sit for a day or two it takes the 15-20. i started it a few times in the summer and it took about 5 cranks too even when it sat for 2 weeks, its kept around 70 during that time of year too. is this normal and just doing that because its going from warm to cold or something else? just wondering if its somethign to get checked or not.

usually it's old gas and bad plugs that affect starting like that. if you pull the plugs you'll see what i mean - phazer plugs usually come out pretty dark.

well i know its not the gas, because i just got it and it does not have ethonal in it. i havent check the plugs, didnt think it would be those because it doesnt have many miles on it. it sounds like it wants to start around the 10th through 15th crank but then goes back to just turning over a few more times and it starts.
