looking for help on rear skid for my rtx nytro please

2013 rtx is killing me i have a bad back im looking for any info on changeing to another rear suspension out of another brand name of sled i have a f1000 and man what a difference i really love my supercharged nytro but it causes me to much discomfort, just woundering if guys out there changed them with better results thanks

I have a bad back (back surgery). Best thing I found is a long track is better than a short track for absorbing the bumps. So maybe you can find an XTX to replace the RTX. Otherwise buy a new / used Skidoo renegade 137" with an Rmotion rear suspension( I've heard nothing but praise for that suspension)

I have had 2 lower spine surgeries and XTX with Star Suspension kit set up per Robert at Star (he is great at tech support) about $300 and 2 hours to install. I'm not sure if there is a Star kit for the shorty 121" RTX

thanks guys lots to think about 137 renagade rear skid in the nytro be nice,,,,this 128 star suspension kit is a thought also,, i wants to stay with the nytro just trying to figgure out the best way to go to help the back out on them small bumps

I have a kit to put mono shock into a nytro. I love my mono shock nytro!

I had hygear do my rear and front on my nytro rtx and what a difference it made. Had it set up per my weight and revalved. Just a thought though it takes them some time to do so be ready for some down time. Good luck

I have a herniated L2 disc, it was real rough on Tug Hill where normally I'd stand a lot.
Sat way more today, WRP seat was great + spring block at high and re-built shocks doing their thing.

Give the star skid relocate a try and a shock revalve with a dual rate spring.. Back end of my sled rides pretty nice..

The RTX skid rides harder than a standard nytro skid. I had both my shocks rebuilt and revalved this year, and it definitely helped. My brothers non RTX skid still has a plusher ride IMO.
