Wondering if any one else is buying a turbo this summer. Would like to use the power of this web site and 5 to 10 other buyers to negotiate a better price. All the turbos are the same price right now, 4500.00 . I am personally leaning toward one of the front mounts.

our kit is 3500.00 if you order 5 the price is 3200.00 If you order 10 it's 3000.00

I'm going to install a turbo over the summer. Not sure which one yet I'm all for a group purchase to save a few bucks! leaning toward mc rear mount.Keep me posted thanks

turbo

Count me in for the group buy if it helps. The problem with this is that
I'm only buying Lightning Pro Turbo. I saw them in action. plus I live
in southern Michigan. The MC Express would be my second choice.

jtssrx, what about the clutch. (secondary) The one Fred and Bob have
on the Black RX-1 at Phatmans?
adirondak blue, keep me posted. thanks. :4STroke:

Check out Simmon's CPR's turbo set up, I saw him installing one last fall, He explaind the kit in detail to me, (I was impressed) Plus it can be run with stock exhaust and where i ride they get kind of stickey about the db level's, I would hate to spend that kind of coin and have to take it off, Does not cost any thing to talk to Jeff and i am sure he can give dyno number's to compare.

adirondak blue: Our kit puts about 190hp in trail form and 250 in race form. there is only one kit. You must run strait race fuel at the 250 level. There is a minimal 35 pound weight drop from stock. We offer boss seats which would be another 10 pound weight drop. The Stock Battery is moved from the nose to the throttle side on top of the foot well.

Information

jtssrx, your problems are all worked out? I ended up buying a bender kit because I could not wait any longer. PM me and give me your Dyno #'s, I want to build a hillclimber for RMHC next year and I can't lose the weight with the Bender kit. Thanks!

RX-1 Moose: Yes We have all the bugs worked out. We'll be shipping kits this summer

We raced both the MC and a bender at a local event "Phat Man challenge". We put 10 to 12 lengths on the bender in 660. The bender was usingf NOS. We beat the Mc 2 out of 3. the lose was by a 1/2 a length and the wins were about 2 to 3 lenghts. Our sled was cold on the first run. Once we got to heat to the turbo that was she wrote. The MC was the fastest turbo in Michigan all winter. I was super happy when we beat him. He is fast!!!!

We have video of this event!!!! We are working on getting it up on the web site!!!!

Jason - that's good news!

I don't want to hijack this post (I'll start another in a minute) but just want to advise that I have quietly been working on a turbo kit for the past 8-9 months that will be available this summer for the RX1, and this fall for the new 3cyl. motor.

Brothers Performance Engineering (BPE) is my company name.
