Looking for photos of Apex trunk/seat mod for No2 bottle(s)

I don't see why (2) 2 lb. bottles wouldn't fit back there, as I only have 1 so I can keep the tool box there. Sending you a pm Laneo

You could probably get two bottles in there with some major grinding. Minor grinding for one. Arrows denote where I ground away plastic. Bottle fits in really nice and snug. My 2.5 lb bottle will fit as well. It just sticks out a little at the top but I can close my flap with it in there.

You might get (2) 2lb bottles but not two 2.5 lb botlles.

Boy, that bottle looks familiar.....

Now what happens to you guys running NOS and your bottle goes dry? Do the sleds run like an old Elain? It would be cool to be on the bottle but I don't want to sacrifice any trail performance or a good weekends ride for a couple of runs. Or am I out to lunch?

I was under the impression you had to really gear up the sleds (4 or 5 teeth) to get the performance and screw with the clucthing to be effective. Am I out of it or what?

Ya you missed. A good system will ad around 1000 rpm. So you clutch just to stay off the limiter while your on the spray

no clutching necessary, i just run a ulmer clutch kit at stock rpm (about 10,200-10,300) and i shoot it a 60 shot and i run up to 11,100. it works great for me, oh btw i geared down 1 tooth and she really ripps now! my buddy with a vector geared up 2 teeth and it didnt work like we wanted it to so he went back to stock gearing and it works great all around.

The 4 strokes have such a broad, wide powercurve that you can clutch for 10,100 off of the bottle, and still have the performance. It is not tweaky like a 2 stroke, where you need to be spot on.
