Me and my friend finally got to try out our new sleds last night, he has a GT and I have the Attak. We both noticed our seats had a little play in them and rock from side to side, is this normal and if not can we tighten them up somehow. We also noticed that the seating position seems to be very slippery, not sure if it is due to the material of the seat or our snowmobile pants---either way we had a blast and our sleds ROCK!!!!

im thinking it normal, my seat does the same thing, i took the seat off to see if i could tighten it up but there was nothing i could do..

its really not funny, and i dont think anybodys complaining, i bet if you went to the front part of your seat and pushed up on it, i bet there some play in it. it really isnt a problem

Clean the back of your pants with alcohol. I have had some in the past that were very slippery when new. The seat cover on most that I have seen is a little loose. It may need to be re-streched and stapled.

I don't have ANY seat movement on my Attak. Something doesn't sound right.........I don't think these seats should move at all.

Do the seats "snap" in some how and then get screwed on (snapped in like on a quadrunner)?? If so, maybe the seat didn't snap in correctly and the seat was tightened down. This would make it secure, but would also move around.

I know Ihad something slippery in my pants after my first ride

Mine is rock solid (GT). I'd be checking your screws/bolts, just to be sure.

I made the mistake of putting "403" protector on my last snowmobiles seat (similar to armor-all, but better on vinyl), and regretted it as it made the seat super slipper when snow got on it.
