Just noticed while working on the sled that I lost the little nut and washer that holds the toggle switch in place on the dash.
If memory serves, it's a small nut about 1/2 the thickness of a regular nut and it could be chrome?
Just curious if anyone happens to know the size and thread of this small nut?
I wrote Rock but thought I'd ask here also in case he is away or busy?
Tom, I asked this same question in the electrical section. Sorry if that's not allowed? It's been a while since I have been on here so I forget the rules.

Must be one of the earlier Yamaheater models that had the toggle switch. If memory serves me correctly is a 1/4" toggle which can be found at almost any electronics parts store.

Thanks, Steiner. I also believe it is a much earlier model? The sled is an O8 and I purchased it in 10 with them already installed. It also has the little light that tells me when it is on or off. I found a similar washer last night on the back of a T.V. cable junction box but it is too big. At least I have one now to take with me so the salesperson knows what I am talking about. Of course, I'm assuming this is how it is mounted but the area around the toggle looks like it had something much larger? I never paid any attention to it previously to see how it was fastened so I hope I have this right? Still no reply from Rock, unfortunately, but I don't imagine he sits around waiting for emails to come in. Thanks again. I'm heading out shortly to see if I can chase one down.
If you can't find the exact one you can use a different toggle or even a rocker switch. The system won't care what kind of switch as long as it can open and close the circuit.

The washer you need has a square tab top and bottom with one tab has on the other tab has off. If I'm not mistaken radio shack had the switch.

Thanks for the replies guys. I ended up buying a new toggle switch just for the nut but like I thought, it was too big. After digging some more, I realized the toggle is actually a mini toggle. None to be found except a music store, which is where I went and sure enough they had them for guitar/amps, whatever.
I tightened the nut after I also placed a washer on there first. Today when I started the sled, I received Code #81? Just finished searching that and it has to do with the hand warmers. My guess is, when I was tightening the nut the actual toggle turned and likely strained the wiring? My Yamaheater light was acting funny as it would blink on and off from red to clear or nothing. I had heat in my grips so I am not sure exactly what is going on? I shut the sled off then restarted it (1st it was fired this year) and the code was gone. I also installed a new battery prior to firing the sled up as the old one was toast. I am now thinking I may have a draw/problem somewhere as I didn't think my old battery should have died so soon? It was a Yuasa with not a lot of use but, for the most part, I kept it charged with a battery tender.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. I am suppose to go riding tomorrow but now I have am second guessing myself if I should?

I hate unfinished/incomplete threads then realized I did the same thing. DOH! Long story short, I found a small nut at a Music store. This mini toggle is used on musical instruments so that is where I headed. Found a parts bin with the extra small washer and the guy gave it to me.
I removed the windshield and the small section of dash on the left to get into where the toggle was located. Once removed, I realized I had twisted the toggle at least a full turn if not more when I was installing the nut and tightening it. I untwisted it, held it then re-tightened it and my code 81 disappeared and my toggle/heater light worked again. Unfortunately I missed my ride but I didn't want to chance it nor possibly ruin my friends ride.
