i was a little disappointed this past week about the Sidewinder and the Artic Cat crappy engineering because something let go and cut my ride a little short last week. I must confess, it could been avoided, it was mostly my bad, I should not of accepted the fix on my axle (mind you we shouldn't be fixing axles). Any-who... looks like I got the sled all fixed up and really, I don't believe there's any other snowmobile that comes close. These Sidewinders are just Amazing.

We know the sidewinder will win in the speed and power department, but I havent seen any talk about the suspension. If that suspension works, that would be a game changer IMO.

119 on a gun !Sledroll i agree, but everything is relative......
The 119 you saw on the speedo was really maybe 105 mph
I thought my 2006 Attak was the best thing since sliced bread until i had to ride it last weekend and i couldn't wait to got off of it!!!!! (and by the way ....(I broke that sled in on shear ice and had many back to back runs on glare ice with 132 mph on the dream meter....laughable!)
Today we think our Sidewinders have been a gift from God, but hopefully in 5-10 years from now we can look back and say "My GOD I had to ride the Winder this weekend and couldn't WAIT to get off of It!!!! ( if i'm not drooling and crapping in my pants in a rocking chair 5-10 years from now of course)
The Apex was 113 also on the gun.
both on ice .

Hell I just rode 10 straight days @270 hp. On a “old” 17 sidewinder. I never saw anything that “pulled” up next to me or even pulled next to anyone else. I just squeeze and have fun. What with all this racing stuff??? Lol. Man it just awesome -10 hard pack fresh groomed over night. Thing was on rails. I still feel the handling on this chassis is awesome. I could care less about a ski don’t.

Ha, I just got back from a few days in Cochrane. Was ripping down a looong power line straight at about 70mph. Along comes a new 850 Doo and pulls along side me on my SRX and nods. He gives her and I didn’t change my speed. 5 seconds go by and he lets off and pulls to the side. I, being curtious stopped and aske what happened. He says “blew a belt”. I said hmmm isn’t that unfortunate. All his buddies roll in and are laughing and saying “told you not to do that”. Classic
