I have TD MS 16 Stock Muffler with 3 bar sensor and Turbo Smart BOV. On a normal day I will get 17.8 psi on my dash. Last weekend we went on a 600 mile trip with temps that ranged from -5 F to -22 F and the sled ran awesome. Sled was kept outside during the trip and when got home, it has been stored in an unheated garage. Our temps have been really cold all week. When I got up this weekend and rode all weekend, I can only get 10 psi. I suspect I must have some ice build up in some vacuum lines or tubes. Suggestions where to look?

You must have been loosing RPMs big time. I would thaw it out. Did you put it on the trailer after running it? Tons of condensation builds on trailers when putting them on hot and closing the doors. Also what gas did you use? I use isopropyl with non ethanol 91 in very cold weather. My sled is set up exactly like yours. It runs very strong.

I'll bet it's just frozen I'm seeing a lot of frozen relays on Yamaha and Polaris sleds with all this extremely cold weather we've been having. Don't worry next week it's supposed to be above normal temps through the rest of the month. Couple of 40 degrees day's with the sun out, trails around here will be doomed were barely hanging on with the little bit of snow we have.

Check for moisture/ice in waste gate solenoid or line going to it. If it won't seal, you won't build boost.

Thanks guys. I did not put in trailer as we just ride from cabin all the time. I usually have it stored in my normal garage which is always around 40 degrees or warmer, however, I have construction going on right now and my contractor chose to take over my garage, so sled is in the boathouse, and with these cold temps nothing is thawing out.

I will check out all lines as I'm sure there is frozen condensation, especially with all the snow dust that seems to get in everywhere.

I forgot to mention I also use the GAP Ram Air intake. I was planning on taking it off before our trip last weekend knowing how cold it was going to be and the snow dust. Well, after looking briefly as to why my boost was so low yesterday, I decided to open up my airbox. Look at what I found!!!!

There must be some hose/line froze after seeing this! I put the stock airbox back on until weather warms up. Still same amount of boost at 10 lbs, so definitely something is froze besides my airbox!

Thank guys for all your help. Love this site!

Holy smokes that probably has something to with it.

Ha! My words were very similar to that when I saw that. Still only producing 10 lbs after I put the stock back on, so some lines must be frozen solid. I'll be checking later today.

Wow. I would say that ram snow system works great! I think you found your problem.

Wow, That is more like a ram snow system. Glad you found your problem.

I thawed all my hoses/lines out and just took it for a rip back out on the lake. I have it back to producing 17.8 lbs of boost!

Thanks guys for all your help.

Very likely many/most/all are frozen/plugged/blocked.

Did you have the screen in place on the front vent of the GAP Ram Air Intake ?

I did have the screen in place in the front vent of the GAP Ram Air Intake. I'm sure snow dust got in from both GAP Ram Air and also the hole in the top of the airbox. We rode for 600 miles that weekend and had just a ton of snow dust with as cold as it was and no humidity in the air. I had snow build up in a lot of places!
