Did it increase your vipers top speed? How much did it cost you for the M20? Do they make Dupont slides for you M20?

This is a Yamaha part # for Dupont slides with a Polaris rail profile, which is what the M20 has.

that seems like a better solution than fully clipping the track. Thats a pain in the ars!

Top speed didn’t change much cost was around 2k which is no more than a pair of good shocks and a 4 wheel kit it uses Polaris edge slides I haven’t found DuPonts for it yet but after fully clipping the track I have 2k miles on a set and they look new yet.

Yes they were. Sure was nice never having fear of the rear kicking. I smoked a lot of 5 year newer sleds in the bumps with that setup but hated having to adjust it for conditions all the time. Eventually broke front arm right off when I hit a few big ones on a uphill that I didn't expect and had suspension set real soft. Compromise was setting it stiff and leaving it. Was way to small a sweet spot in that skid without adjusting. Air system and adjusting it I am sure helped broaden the range a lot.
I had a M10 on my 1998 SRX 700s so when I bought the M10 I purchased the skid with the Ohlin shock option. They fixed the narrow performance sweet spot on the M10. What a difference, with the M10 the SRX just swallowed bumps! Perhaps better than my 137” viper with Hygear Axis Pro shocks.
