I had the oppurtunity to ride with Fastblue on Saturday. We had a great time. He had an M10 and was nice enough to let me have it for about 15 miles on bumpy trails. I did not want to give it back. Guess who is getting an M10 next year for Christmas?

Dana, I told you the M-10 would give you a far superior ride. I think most people who tell us on these posts how well they think the rear suspension on the Warrior rides, have probably never owned anyother sleds besides Yamaha, and the junk suspensions and seats all Yamaha's have. Maybe the New suspensions for 05n will be better.

TOLD YA SO!

Dana, hate to say "I told ya so" (LOL) about the ride comfort of the M-10. But yes, once you get on and ride a well tuned M-10, you are definately in awe and don't want to go back to the Pro-Action. My first ride on my M-10, I would do my usual "cringe" when I saw decent size bumps coming up on the trail (waiting for the jolt) and was amazed I could barely feel the bumps. So now I find myself definately riding more aggressive through the rough stuff, not worrying about getting "beat up", as I did when I had the Pro Action in. I think the holeshot and top end sacrifice are well worth the ride comfort as I do 90% of my riding on trails anyway, and not racing. --O.C. (Steve)

They sure are awsome, I tuned & tuned on the pro-action it got pretty good, but still no M10.

The holeshot and speed loss are worth the trade off to ride quality. :!:

I am X-Polaris rider. The wife and I have had 6 Polaris’s with the M10. The wife has a warrior with an M10 and I have a Warrior with a stock suspension.

Our group rides 5500 plus miles per year about half of which is bagger trips. We have quite a variety of sled that ride with us. We trade off sleds very often just for kicks and giggles. Most of the women who ride the M10 warrior say it rides like the Polaris M10 but steers better. The men who ride the M10 also feel it rides like the Polaris M10 but handles much better.

Almost all the women like the M10 warrior better than the stock one. Almost all the men like the M10 warrior the best for short rides. They prefer the stock one for the long rides feeling the overall performance is better and overall much more stable.

My sled has 5820 miles on it with zero suspension problems. The wife’s Ohlin M10 had the front shock replaced at 3500 miles. The slides last half as long as the stock one even with an ultra loose track. The rear wheels have been replaced as well as several idler wheels. You’re very limited as where you can get parts when on a bagger trip.

Our past experience with the Polaris M10 has had similar slide, wheel and shock wear issues.

With that said I feel the 136 M10 has very little loss compared to the stock. Polaris 121’s showed more relative loss. I prefer the stock and the wife will only ride the M10.

We have two shorties with M10’s in our group. They ride much better than stock.

Dukester, it sounds like the women like it and the men not as well. Does that mean I am a women for going that route? Only kidding. I think you can adjust the ride on the M10 to any riding style you want. Hard or soft. I hope there are more people who can give me their opinions, and then I can decide.

No comments from the peanut gallery. I need some cold hard facts. Looking forward to seeing you next week. I hope we can have some fresh snow.
