Me personally I haven't heard any trail conditions from the county.....but I'm sure snowmobile Maine has some posted.........Trail Conditions...........what I have heard though is that riding is good for the time of season and being only 1 day away from winter......

Well this NY guy is going to Maine from 1-10-17 to 1-14-17. Hoping you guys get some more snow! Our two cabins are reserved. We have 8 of us going. I'm the only smart one on a Yamaha! Millonoket is 120mi from cabin.

Took Friday off from work drove to Dover Foxcroft and unloaded and cruised easy 125 miles Greeville, back to Dexter and rode some local trails. four seasons were out grooming and things were pretty darn good! Installed Ridelite this year and enjoyed not having to take my hands off the bar meeting other riders especially in the corners!

At least you signal riders. I was suprised riding last year how many people didn't bother, or waved at me thinking I was waving to them.Took Friday off from work drove to Dover Foxcroft and unloaded and cruised easy 125 miles Greeville, back to Dexter and rode some local trails. four seasons were out grooming and things were pretty darn good! I hear you Al, I think it's like they are on motorcycles and just waving to be cool also! My friend is starting his kids riding and asked about snowmobile safety classes and apparently no local clubs offer such a thing...... Maybe that's your answer? MSA has a safety vid you can watch... more should.

I signal most of the time and usually get something back..........I get more reactions though when I'm cornering hot an waving at 'em with my inside ski.....lol

Seems most of the state got hammered except me here in Woolwich.........So, what's up.....
I'm thinking I should get a "I like Yamaha" sticker for my doo.......looking for a similar effect as I had when my Mom tied the bone to my neck so the dog would play with me....

rode New port north yesterday, pretty good trails all and all. heavy snow and wind took a lot of tree limbs down so some trail work was needed. Dover Foxcroft north west toward Forks had the most snow of the day. Rode with a group of seven with 3 1st time riders so it was slow going but still better than sitting on the couch!

I rode ITS 85 N from Unity to Newport this weekend and pretty darn good considering snow coverage. As you head North it gets better (captain obvious). Certainly not a heavily traveled section of 85; I only passed 4 sleds up and back. Unity Pond had 12-14" ice. Hopefully rain doesn't do too much damage.
