Make my Rx-1 faster

From looking at the speed shops website they sell alot of Simons' products so why would'nt you deal direct? I'm not trying to promote one or the other I'm just throwing it out there as a consumer.

I also sell alot of other companys products. The clutch kits designed for the ECP filtered sleds was developed by us and is sold under the Simons CPR brand. Jeff and myself have a very strong business relationship and share tuning information that can better his product. Also from a customers perspective, having a company that offers more than one brand and having field experience with them, I feel I can offer a solid opinion of the aftermarket products that work and the ones that dont.

Jeffs new 5 degree tuneable helixs are a result of me asking for it. 2 minds are better than one...BBY

Dan,

Did you come up with the Copiers you sell? :ORC
Copiers are my lively hood, is selling clutching yours? I believe this is what Jeff does for a living. Since when can't I recommend a business I did business with?????????

No problem recommending businesses at all, in fact its great that you did. The snowmobile performance business is something I want to do full time. It doesnt happen overnight...BBY

more speed

i got lots from just old fashion carb tuneing. and there was lots of little things not right in there once this was done even with stk clutching i was seeing 140mph regulaly on the dream meter once i found the best rpm for my sled then i did clutching after that i was run with the mach Z,s trading wins. these rx 1,s will run hard with a little tuneing

I have personal experience dealing with Matt from The Speed Shop and with Freddie from Eastern Cycle Performance. Both are A1 class act guys and know thier s&#t. I have never had any experience with Jeff at Simmons but if he and Matt work together must be good.

Excellent products and eceptional customer service. ;)! ;)!

I got my filter and clutch kit from CPR. It works great, pulls harder then stock up to about 70 or 80 mph. From that point on, I dont see a big difference. But you will get to the finish line faster. I have had good luck with CPR products for the past 4 years. I have heard a lot of good things about MATT at the SPEED SHOP too...Gary.

I will help you with the install! Don't waste money on the dealer. I have done the install on my 05 and have had the carbs apart many times. I also have a Manometer to synch the carbs when done. The directions are easy to follow if you are familiar with carbs and clutches. I also know where the little o-rings are and where the little dowel for the chock bracket goes. All I require is a couple cold ones and a warm garage. If you get a kit let me know and I will come over and help you.

I've also heard some not so good things about the ecp kits and that some have had decreased performance. Anyone have any feedback about this? I was just going to get an ecp and clutch kit, but maybe just the clutching would serve me best?

I can tell you this... If someone has had bad performance from my ECP Air Kit I am willing to bet they installed it wrong. With as many as I and Matt have sold, there is no possible way that they don't work.

Simons CPR uses the same filters as I do!
