I have a 2011 Mtx se 153
I want to shorten the track length . I am looking to put a 144" 2 - PLY track on it. what is the best way of trying to accomplish this?

a. 141" cat float skid ( cf or xf?)-- 9 tooth drivers, maybe a big wheel kit if needed. - hopefully similar enough to the 153" everyone swaps in to the mtx

b. 146 assault skid--- swaps into xtx ( obviously different mounts)

c. Xtx skid

d. possibly have rails made for my current suspension.

yes I have read through numerous threads including the 16 page one, but nobody seems to have what i want. I need to get this ball rolling because I ruined another junk single ply track, and this season isn't getting any shorter :hide:

I have all the stock stuff off my xtx if interested. Skid, 1.75 track, 9T extroverts, and tunnel extension.

FYI....in the nitro section there's a thread where XTX rails were installed with a MTX air internals

I have a 144 Mt Tammer Fox Float skid on my Nytro, I ride hard trails all the time, just have to add idler wheels, and run Ski zees reverser compatible Ice scratchers. handles and feels great over the bumps.
