Making the stock ski work better

Thecross-

I did this to my stock Nytro rtx skis and wow what a huge difference! No more darting, 100 mph down the groomed trail. Really worked well in corners too....impressed and it was so easy....

I just changed to Dooly 6 inch carbides and I lost all the darting and steers great in the corners. I think I could have gotten by with 4 inch doolys

I think you are better with the 6s, I have 4s on mine and they have a light push to them in soft snow.

Guys have any of you turned the ski rubber around? I put the skis from my Nytro on my fathers 2000 Yamaha 700 Venture a couple of days ago, that thing darted worst than any sled I've ever riden, and I turned the rubbers around and it's a different sled now! Tracks as straight as an arrow and turns on a dime.
