We found the same crap on our lake when we arrived Saturday. I guess we were lucky though..3 lakes over we found a plowed track. The gentleman that made the track saw us sitting on the lake and came down with his gun and tripod!!! Talk about a nice guy!! He hung out and manned the gun for an hour Sunday morning while we ran...he's not even a Yamaha guy!!
Anyways, here are the results:
~2500' glare ice.
02 Viper 113mph
05 RX-1 116.3 (BLACK primary!!)
06 Apex ER 117.5 Completely stock (slipping up top)
06 Apex RTX 120.4 Completely stock, zero air in the floats.
We were all very happy with the results my RX needs some belt grip badly but still turned some respecable numbers. The RTX was flat out flying!! I wonder how fast it will go with a bender stage II (j/k).
Anyways, here are the results:

wow what lakes were ya running ??? 110 was the fastest seen here with 07 APEX RTX as well as a 03 RX1 ran the same speed

Pretty impressive for the Viper. ZERO on the floats? How low does it sit like that?

Next year I’m giving machzed one of my spare cell phones to activate so he should always be in contact. I don’t think there is anyone more then Dan that wanted to see this gathering happen. He’s been talking about it all year, but its just a bad year for great conditions on Marry Lake. I know he’s been so busy running around trying to get everything ready on the weekend, but sometimes things just don’t go the way its planned.

I think matt wants to build a radar sled now!....well,he sure has the HP to do it!...cant wait!
Update on NOS...worked on it today,its 99% done now!....just need those two parts from BARRY Holtzman,and its DONE!...after all I went thru,its near complete!..LOL.
SNowed here today..and Hoping to get out wed if parts come,to test this NOS!
man,tomorrow would be a NICE day to ride ALL of lake o bays...nice new 3 inches of snow on ice,and bigggggggg lake!
LOL,i was just re-reading this thread..too funny!..for those of you who are confused,I DO have a phone!...LOL...being an american,My cell doesnt work here,while im here sledding in canada,so I just go without a cell up here..As i have a phone at cottage.....But as you all know a cell while riding is priceless!....and I guess Im just the "GUY" who happens to KNOW everyone!...LOL,what can i say,im a good organizer of sledheads!...well,I try my hardest anyway!
so,next year a simple cell phone for the 2 mts Im here will work well!...and if you guys all want to pitch in thats even better!!...HEHE.
