Might be easier to list the positives:
-fully clipped..... thats about it.
Negitives:
-bad paddle design
-way too soft, folds over under any load
-you can run it backwards or forwards and you still will get lapped by your buddies with CE or PC
-the track even cut down does not work or hook up
-they stopped making it for 2011, not sure if they will make it for yamaha still but you can not buy it from camoplast anymore.
I gave the maverick a shot for ~600 miles and then gave up, bought a CE off a M8 and it was a huge gain for a $200 upgrade.

I was wondering the same Phazer boy. My stock '08 nytro SUUCKS! in the pow. Is a new track going to make a big difference? Havent seen many used CE or PC for sale is there a better place to look than this site?

Yes a CE or PC is going to make a huge difference!! drop a tooth up top and reclutch to match the added traction.
Yamahaboy, did you mean they are going to stop offering it on the 2012? Cause I thought the 2011s still had the Mav...

http://www.tracksusa.com/ $650. 15 x 2.5 x 153 CE. The best investment you can make on a Nytro. I put one on a year ago and haven't looked back. There is nothing more rewarding than "Quality-of-Life on the Snow". Spend the bucks you won't regret it.

Waaaaay too soft paddles. They fold over instead of shoveling snow, even with the stock 130 hp. If you look at a single paddle, I would say that even the Back Country 1.75" shovels more snow. If they would be available in the same track length I am sure that the Back Country 1.75" would outperform the Maverick 2.25"...

The maverick was taken off the camoplast website this year:

Yes the 11s do have a maverick but they were built before camoplast introduced their new line up this year so my prediction is that yamaha nytros will be running a CE next year.
