Does the mega float shock need to be broken in like spring shocks?
I was riding and I have it set at 150psi and thought it was a little on the hard side, will be doing more riding the end of the week to see,
I'm more concern on the stutters then going though big washouts,
They say not to run it below 140 psi, does anybody know what will happen if you run it a little lower like 130 psi just to say...
Thanks

FW I understand...get the rear on a stand to adjust the presuure....if you are setting it on the ground you have more pressure than whats read...thereby the stiffness..

At 147 were you bottoming on trails or ditch banging,
How do you like the mega float so far?

full transfer = for hookup / traction
min transfer = for ride quality and handling..
if you are at the full end of the spectrum you will blow through the shock easier on bigger bumps...especially with lower air spring pressure....
if youre out riding and like the setup on the groomed and smooth and then it gets rough....its easier to me to dial out the transfer while trail riding to obtain better big bump compliance...it will feel firmer through the stutters though

Thanks guys
Wow... only a few psi and that much difference...
RollRite I see we are about the same lbs, I'm about 15lbs lighter, I got mine at 150 also
My transfer is to max, going to play with that to see the difference,
I would like to dail the shock to handle the stutters even if i have to give up big bump capabilities
I like to play with my things so I'll post any info I can...
