Wife and I are looking to go riding this weekend if possible. Snow or trail report much appreciated for the U.P. Thanks, Mike

I guess if you are careful in choosing where you ride. There is no base left (it all melted) but there is plenty of powder if you get up by Superior. North of Newberry there is a solid foot or more but can be down to as little as an inch or two or as high as 4 feet depending on the drifting. I know Marquette has 34 inches of recorded snow fall and I have a buddy who is headed up there to ride this weekend. Another good thing to note is you probably won't run into a lot of other snowmobilers out there so any snow out there should be pretty good. Hope this helps. -- Stu

I Just got back from the keewanaw, rode from mass city to Houghton and stayed at twin lakes. Anywhere from 3 to 5 feet of snow. Broke trail on the freda loop and trail 13. Never seen so much snow. Rode all day thursday and friday. If you can go you won't be dissapointed
