Might jump ship from Doo to Yammi

What didn't you like about the 1200? 1.75 tracked XTX is your best bet if you like off trail
I loved the 1200, it had amazing power and linear acceleration, the sled handled amazing and did everythijg beyond expectations. But I had an accident and totalled it and now looking for a replacement and the nytros are priced a lot cheaper than another 1200 gade.

I'm in the same boat. Really want a 1200 but god damn they go for big money used. You can pick up a Nytro for easily $2,000 less for the same model year.

Funny, I'm thinking of jumping ships to from my 04 Rev 800ho-x modded to an 09 XTX

I've modded my rev with Rk-teks drop-in kit and a few other stuff and its a rocket ship, but I smoked a piston and I just rebuilt it, so now I have to run it rich and install a wideband to tune it and I just want to ride, getting tired to all this crap.

I was going to get a Nytro last time I sold my ski-doo but saw a great deal on this rev so I picked it up. Love the sled light fast and fun. Everyone up at my cottage has a rev 95% are ski-doo guys. But I ride with two cats and a polaris so F it I'm not going to get crapped on to much for jumping ships.

I'm not spending alot, I'm thinking 6500 max, mileage is a non issue, but after reading alot on here I will have to do some small stuff as expected to tweek it and make it perfect. Ski's, sub frame reinforment and ice wheels, but really thats nothing...maybe some venting and a skid plate.

Question, I don't see much modded ones forsale? Do you guys think I could get a xtx 09 or newer with some mods on it for 6500$? Would love to get one with a full exhaust and power commander and a clutch kit.

I had two Revs back to back then came to a Nytro and been on it for 3 seasons now.

Doos chassis are WAY more durable. I have constant problems with my Nytro however they are small problems. The power plant is awesome and I don't have to worry about the engine or making it home. So I am happy to deal with the Nytros issues rather then the big engine issues I had with my doos. (My doos were 2-strokes tho)

Ya this is the second time my engine has been out of the sled, this year, and we just got 2ft of snow, so ya hense why I'm here... :o|

Love the power of my rev and handling, but its old and showing wear, I can't swing the cash for an etec 800 and well the 600 is wicked, I know too many people that have it. I only see a few Nytros on the trail, I like to stand out alittle.

I rather have little stuff like you said vs engine. Hate spending money on replacment parts rather spend them on make it faster and handle better. Been looking around looks like my budget should work just fine for an 09 with some mods. Just need to sell mine which I'm not in a rush but would like to move it at the end of this year. Oh and I've been reading, I think I could get just the 121" track one so thats easier to find too.
