Mileage with ram air

Hey guys for all of you that have done the homeade ram air kit with the frogzskin was your millage terrible at first???? Put my first 30 miles on and went through more than half a tank. I wasn't being real easy on to but should still do better than that. Any help or suggestions? Thanks

No issues of getting more than 110 miles on a tank

I think it might just be running Rich right now because the computer hasn't compensated for the Airbox yet

Go back to stock air box ..... if mileage goes back up and normal the air box mod is not helping anything. The air box on most sleds is meant to work "as is" ......

are you running out last years gas? it could get better with next fill up was it a true full tank when you started?

frog skined mine with 12 3/4 inch ones, no diff in gas milage, but no diff in preformance either!!need to do exhaust , fuel etc etc to complement it!!
