Minimun octane turbo phazer

Whats the minimun octane for 10-12 psi? Just wondering if you have to run race gas?

Do you have the headshim or low comp pistons? Are you running 10 pounds boost or 12??

I dont have the turbo yet. Thinking about getting one and want to know what gas i have to use. And probly 10psi to be conservitive.

What elevation will you be riding at ie lowest elevation you spend time riding at? Are you going to be running the headshim or not?

8 to 10000 ft and im not sure about the head shim. I guess what im asking is can i run 92 octane with the head shim or with any turbo setup .

92 Octane with the head shim is what is recommended. I have a couple hundred miles on mine now with no apparent issues. Gonna put on quite a few more tomorrow!

approx 12 psi boost, this is what the mcx kit is set for out of the box. Doing a little research on turbo phazers and the mcx kit as well as mcx website will answer most if not all of the questions you are asking here.

If your riding at 10,000 ft, dont run a headshim and contact high altitude boost they had some sleds setup with pump gas and no shim for high altitudes.
