Is there any reason why you couldn't mount rear view mirrors on the side panels of the new Apex (2011-2014) like the 2006-2010 Apex?

Just wondering?

mirrors

I have a sled that did have the mirrors mounted to the side panels, key word was DID! they are worth less.

Why were they worthless? What sled?

I got Polaris Indy Style tall mirrors off ebay and they work great on the side panels of my Attak.
I had the oem ones and like said above they stink. But these work good and are only $50.

They look pretty good Nytrosnox. How's the sight line? Can you see behind you? Do you see the handlebars or your hands in the mirrors? I had a set of AC mirrors that mount to the inside of the windshield, but they didn't work too well for me.

Gave me a reason to run my sled out and check it myself. Lol Not bad, nice wide veiw. My duaghters sled is about 30 yards behind. Alot of adjustment. Do see the grips but you can easily move around them. Better then my small power mad ones. Also not in as much of the way as the powermad ones. Cant wait for snow, I think I hear it calling!

I had a couple of sleds that had the mirrors that mounted on the side panels. Didn't like them at all!!!! All you see is your knees and they vibrate a lot also. Would never have another set of them again. Have the Yamaha mirrors that mount on the handlebars now and they are rock steady, and Great visibility.

dont fool around with those panel mount mirrors you will just end up with holes in your panels where they used to be mounted.
