So what have most guys done about the mono shock mounting bracket and shock rubbing on the track. Pulled my skid for the first time (1200 miles) and noticed it is starting to rub a flat spot on it. I see ulmers make a anti rub kit (bearings) for this, but was wondering what else if anything is out there and what has most others done to prevent this?

Not sure what other options are out there? Maybe fabbing up something that uses some old sliders or similar material might do the trick? I personally chose the anti rub bearings to solve mine and it works pretty slick.

On mine 06 rtx i snapped the shock mount clean off of the rear arm.
I bought a new rear arm from a newer model that has the plastic wear pads built into it.
No more shock rub

Hygear suggested I turn the eye of the shock piece thats rubbing to evenly wear it down although I had no track damage it was where there studs were installed. I purchased and installed Ulmers kit. 25$ can't go wrong.

Just welded a 1" tube next to the shock end- can post a pic later if you need it.

Different skid then u have I'm guessing cause they are OEM sliders. I have a attak GT. To be honest I don't even need the track rub eliminator kit. Track doesn't even come close to rubbing the top of my shock. I'll sale it if any one is interested. It has zero hrs on it. I just bought it for this season. Pm me if interested

The 136 mono rear arms have the plastic sliders from factory. Unfortunately you can not put a 136 arm into a 121 skid unless its from a mono shock II 136 skid.

I riveted used slider material onto the existing tunnel protectors. Cheap solution. Works great!

I installed Ulmers anti rub kit which looks just like the Pioneer kit picture that James posted above. $25 and easy to install. Problem solved.
