The prototypes did not have a handle bar pad with the exception of the GT. Do any or all of them come with the pad?? Not a big deal but it's just one less thing I have to buy. I think they give it the racey look.

Did they drop that plastic ring at the base of the steering column all together?

It would have been nice if they made there seat pocket like a Polass or a Doo. It would make it easier for clean out and stops things from smashing around.

Yes, it looks identical to a doo except it needs some foam inside of it.Mud Nutts said:It would have been nice if they made there seat pocket like a Polass or a Doo. It would make it easier for clean out and stops things from smashing around.

Did they firm up the seat? The proto type I seen in the spring was really soft?

The seats seem the same as the show sleds last spring
The base of the bar mount is still the chrome plastic cover.

Do they still have the Dzus fasteners on the hood and side cowling? I was also curious if they came with a handlebar pad? What does the front W arm on the suspension look like - I heard they were going to beef that up as last year some were breaking. Hope you don't mind answering all these questions, but you have alot of new future owners out there that a drolling to see them. Mine is not suppose to come in for a couple weeks. blue -ER just like in the pics

The Dzus fasteners are still there....they work slick as hell of you use them correctly. The Bar pad is there..I'll grab a pic if I can.

If the seat is still the same softness as the prototypes I am going to be very disappointed with Yamaha b/c all I heard in the spring was that the seats would definately be firmer on the production sleds. That is a major disappointment!!!!! Still hoping.

pitt4212, that's what my rep told me as well. I too will not be happy, because the dealer Yamaha rep told me it was supposed to be 30 percent firmer than the proto.

Polaris sure did a good job on seat storage, and its lockable too.
