same as above^^ I have an under tunnel exhaust though so I have a small bag that buckles right in front of that tanks and goes under the seat a little bit. I removed the exhaust bracket and rear plastic so from the rear its open but the side plastics behind the seat is still there.

It sticks but you have to watch it...I had to drill a new hole for the pin in the track to keep the cans out of exhaust...this winter I'm getting a stainless shield made. I also got a wicked deal on a trail tank so I'll only need the MA tanks for long trips.

mine are in the same spot as UPEI93's but I don't require heat tape or anything since the exh is under the tunnel.
a turn out is a must for added safety so the exhaust isn't hitting the MA container(s) directly.

mine are probably another inch or two back from that. as long as you use two bolts per mounting stick deal it will hold just fine!

I was thinking of putting the cans on the others direction so that the cap of the cans are facing to the left or right instead of the back. I think that leaves more room from the exhaust, but not sure yet. What do you think?Better pic...View attachment 111271

i think the tank will stick off the back then but you will gain the space right behind the outlet then. only way to know is to mock them up and just do it!

Alright, ya I am just gotta straighten out the tail light on the back and maybe raise the MA rails a little, but it should work, I'm hoping to be able to do that soon, just waiting for the store to get the kit in.i think the tank will stick off the back then but you will gain the space right behind the outlet then. only way to know is to mock them up and just do it!
