Yeah I can understand what you're saying on the gauges, well if anyone asks I'll just tell them it's a temperature gauge lol

chek out my hidden gauges on the hurricane subject page 6

Yes I seen that, very nice setup. I was thinking of something similar with a windshield bag.

it is a bell bicycle handle bar bag from wall mart for 14 bucks. cut a small hole for the wires on the bottom and a hole for the mounting plate to go through near the top. holds all of the extra length of wires and fits perfect. didnt plan for it to fit that good.

Sometimes it's better to have the gauges showing, so you don't have to race! ;)!

havent raced any sleds yet but have seen 107 in less than 1/4mi on terrible snow. has the same pull now at 80 as it did before at 40.

On good snow my best was 104 mph in 1000' so pretty good!! :sled1:

Our snow is pretty much gone as well so no more fun!

Matt I watched the videos and could tell the lightweight kit is louder, but do you have any db figures on it? VT can get a little anal when it comes to the exhaust. If it's close then whatever right?

Do you know how they measure it? What DB is allowed? We just spent 5 more days testing in Island Park. We're going back for 5 more days on Monday and I could try to get some numbers. The snow pretty much sucks but we're working on a few late season projects. Spent a lot of time dialing in the electronic boost controller that is going to be awesome!

We managed to find a little fresh snow on the trees a 10,000 ft.

Wanted to show a little clip from the xtx mpi viper at 5.5lbs of boost. Rear shock at 110lbs no other suspension changes.

Matt I want the air filter relocate! I put my gauges on my bars. Hood comes off with one plug as stock, that's what I wanted. I did not want to disconnect everything to look my sled over.

My handle bar mounts were simple, quick and clean btw.

The air filter is part of our cold air kit that we have as an option. It really not necessary for most trail riding but is completely necessary for riding in deep snow. The blue sled is a XTX that is stretched to a 153 set at 8 psi and it will pull the skis in the air as long as you want. I'll try to get some more video this week.

Matt, the exact wording is a system that exceeds oem specifications. So I'd say remotely close would work. Pretty sure they're not going to have a database of oem specs on them.
