my 06 apex rtx projects 144"

Just a for warning for you short track apex guys wanting to stretch it out too 144". I did the same to my 06 RTX, Hartman 144 tip up, predator track, extra wheels the WORKS. It completely destroyed the rear suspension geometry. Rode Like a Bucking mule through the big stuff. Tryed softer springs, revalve EVERYTHING. Ended up selling it. Yah the hook up is awesome and it looks cool.. but you'll take the plushness right out of the rear skid. It's not designed/laid out to stretch that far. (mounting points etc.) BE CAREFUL what you wish for!! Happy Sleddin Boys

So far I like it. Been doing some adjusting on the rates to get it set but nothihg real big. I did notice it tends to kick a bit on real big bumps but nothing I can't live with. I actually found mine kicked when it was 121. It works great for the type of riding I do. It was not designed for real rough riding in the first place.

I will not argue with that, it does have a little buck compared to the oldman plushness it had b4. But to me it was a small price to pay for what it added. I didnt buy the apex to be mogul hungry, that is why i want a phazer to pound the crap outa. Im hopn by next year i can get one for around 3k then i have the best of both worlds. If i had a million dollers i woulda just bought a apex xtx but for $270 and a new track i can handle a little mogul hop. Nothing is perfect it just takes one flaw and puts it in a diffrent aspect. I thought n noticed the extra hop then went down the same trail on my buddys nytro xtx to compare and they were pretty comparable.

Yah rails were powdercoated black held up great!!! And the seat I dyed black with automotive vinyl dye from canadian tire!! Also held up great.. Just make suire the vinyl is well cleaned before you do it!!

I forgot to mention also that you add ALOT of added stress on fron W arm so make sure you get it beefed up from half baked or it'll fold like origami
