My 08 Nytro build for the 09/10 season pics to follow

Did you change the bars? I am new to snowmobiling as I have been quading all my life. I find the bars on the nytro to be very cramped. I have protapers on my CC Grizzly and I really like them. What are you thoughts.

Your Nytro looks good. I can see this is going to be a very expensive sport for me down the road. I have a grizzly worth over 15g. I know sleds can get well over that.

No I didn't change them. It was a challenge to find a GPS moun to fit, but I found this one on ebay pretty cheap. I have the ram but it seems a little bulky for me, and the look of the sled. If it doesn't work I will have to switch. Everything JUST fit. If I had to add a mountain strap I would need KY

Thanks for the comments.

Here you go

Here is what I have. You have to run the upper knob through the hole then lock it in the bottom clip. Between that and the pad it hold it real tight. We will see what happens

Is there a way to purchase trail maps to download on that GPS?

Here is what I used for trail maps

http://www.gpssledmaps.com/ They are free. I also downloaded the city maps from garmin for $100.00 for all of the states I go to. This way they both show all of the gas stations, bars etc. I also wanted that to help show me through some of the towns. I assume the free ones would, but didn't want to take a chance. You can ask Grimm he is an ace with this stuff. I messed up the downloading, Since it isn't a typical download. He was a big help. You will need a 2GB card for this one though.
Here is the TY sections for this stuff if needed

The white ones came in right before the last set of pics. I have blue and white plastic, and white oversized canvas. Don't know how long they are going to last with this new SkinZ full cover I have. That thing is tighter then a condom, and bends the snot out of my handguards. Don't know if they will want to come back when its cold out. Tried the Yamaha one, and with the sport grab bar, and riser it was difficult when it was hot out. No way it would work in the cold.

sheetwright- how did you run your wiring from your led pod above your a-arms? drill a hole or run it between the panels?
start working on mine this weekend need to get my butt going before it snows. I bought some rubber grommets to run the wiring through if I drill holes. not sure if I should put 1or 2 pods in the shock area, what do think?

I drilled a hole and used a two sided rubber grommet. The lights I bought where from Street FX from Rich's Yamaha. Each of the small banks in the exhaust tunnel, and a-arm areas had 6 LED's per assembley. Which worked great. I tried to run single and hide them, but it wasn't bright enough, and it was a pain in the A$%. These light strips come with nice connectors, fuses, and holes for mounting. I used outdoor industrial black velcro, and stainless hardware throught the holes. Nylock nuts of course. All wiring went directly to the battery. I put a black toggle switch under the windshield area. If you need any more pic's just ask. I need to post K&N, and resevoir shock pic's for a couple of guys. Thanks for the interest
