How many threads are showing? I'm pretty sure i have 1.5" of thread showingTry backing off the centre spring, before I moved the rear suspension bolt I too had to crank up the centre spring to take some weight off the skis now that I moved the rear suspension bolts I only have about 1/8” preload on the centre spring and still have light steering and it rides great.

Forgot to mention, checked speedo vs gps in the upper 50s to low 90s range. Sled reads 1 to 2 mph high.

I need to check the measurement.. with rear of sled off the ground and spring loose once the nut touches the spring I only gave it 1/8”-1/4” preload.. I’m 215ish lbs suited up and I do bottom out once in awhile riding hard but the ride is very plush over the studder bumps at speed. How many threads are showing? Keep the lower locking nut loose as it only takes seconds to adjust on the trail to find your sweet spot, I sledded all last year with the nut loose so I could adjust centre spring on trail without any issues of spring loosening..

Well, put her to bed for the summer. Whopping 670 miles, thats a new LOW, usually get between 2 and 3000. Could not believe how dirty the engine oil looked, the chaincase oil looked cleaner. As far as the hot grip that quit working, the wires pulled out of the connector. The penny pinchers in accounting have the wire legnth figured out to the .001 th. Was also surprised how much black belt dust was around the left footwell. That included the first 50 miles on a Gates carbon belt, then breaking in 2, XS 825s, then 300 ish miles on each of those. Now to start all over again. The new Hurricane 175 track is going in, a new old Apex clutch is going on. So much for changing ONE thing at a time.
