After a month of hard work here is my MTX. There are a few other mods in the works that have not been done yet, but the list is so long now I figured I'd post it now.

Front:
Ulmer Bushings
Ulmer Clutch Kit
Black powdercoated caster blocks, bumper
Slydog Race Skis, 6" race carbides
GYTR Shocks, Sno-cross specc'd
Blown Graphics
Upgraded steering bushings
Uni-pods
Yamaha Machined Gas cap (one piece of bling is allowed ;)
RSI Riser mod
Rox Handguards with extenders
Rox number plates (with my old sno-cross number from 1991-1993)
PCIII
Carbon Fiber D&D Exhaust (shaved off 16lbs)

Rear:
Cut track to 1.6"
Fox Zero-pro top and center shock - Sno-cross specc'd
Powdercoated rails/crossbars
2500 Torsion Springs
X-Clicks
All new bushings/bearings

Yet to come:
Dynojet Wideband LCD
Cutting 8" off rear tunnel, then powdercoating black (can add last graphic)
Grip plates for tunnel
Complete blueprint of the sled (full check on every bolt/setting,adjustment) and documenting it

Comments:
Your low snow wheels in the front of the skid, check the bearings. Mine were shot and added a ton of drag.

Also, if you pull your rear skid, you will definately need new rear upper and lower bushings for the rear arm.

If you need to drill out rivets in the front shroud area, use pop-pins to put it back together, much easier and they hold very well and can be pryed out with a standard blade next time you need them, speeding things up a ton in the front end.

I don't think you will end up being happy with the Maverick cut down. Mine was at 1.5" and it was noticably better than 2", BUT I found that the lugs still folded over under hard breaking causing it to slide too much. The freeride on the otherhand is Awesome! I'm still waiting to get mine back from the dealer with a new motor in it so I can get my wide a-arms installed.

also looks like you moved the factory low snows to the outside and the front outer back a few inches. I had the worst slider wear directly in front of the idlers that are at the rear tip up section. If you check the link in my Sig you can see my post on where I added a pair of full size idlers which, after 700miles, the slides are only 1/2 wore now.

Looking good. I will possibaly have some killer shocks for sale soon. May have a full set of custom axis tripple adjustable shocks avaible
