It wasn't very difficult. I didn't drill out the holes. This might have been wrong, but it worked for me. I know Nikolai did and didn't have any issues either.
I just put one bolt in at a time when its barely threaded into the adapter, then i pick the next one, and so forth. Then slowly tighten each one a little bit at a time.

Did you guys have that problem?
make sure the Powermadd box was checked off for Yamaha(on the back). I can't think of why it wouldn't align except for it's the wrong adapter.

i had the kit marked yamaha,everything lines up and the bolts were the same size as well

On the back of the box the Arctic Cat in marked off but the guy at the dealership i bought it from said the cat and the yamaha ones are the same......... maybe they aren't!!!!!!
Cause it is not lining up. I tried doing on bolt a little bit at a time and that didn't work. As soon as they start to get tight, the whole adapter goes all cackeyed
