Im converting a 2003 low milage RX1 to a an Apex ..Love the Apex look so much and my 03 is worth more to me then selling it,, I still have my turbo Attak for primary sled..

You will notice the stearing gate has been replaced

looks sweet! Where did you find the blue front clip plastic? I thought they only have done black for the apex's.

those are painted with an automotive paint

air intake, well what i did is i installed the filters, and had to figure ou what to do with the hole in the hood, so what I did is I gutted the Apex air box to give it the stock look

You can cut out the grooves in the stock air box and it will let fresh air right into the filters and still look stock. I actually have a cut out one I was using on my SC apex to cover up the IC but still flow air. Worked good.

I miss being able to open the hood on my RX1 but my apex is getting a makeover of sorts and I will soon have full access to the engine bay very quickly.
